I'm sorry you have heard of this event. There will be no formal marketing. If you wish to receive a number and map(s), you will be required to give Speedy a $5 gift certificate to a business of your choice. Gift certificates can be purchased at Gear West on the day of the event. Starting at 9:15am, bibs and maps will be handed out. The event begins when the door to Gear West Run is unlocked, and is over when the door is locked. There will be minimal aid on course- 2 water jugs. The course is about 20 miles long and is mostly on trails. You will take the page from books along the route that corresponds to your bib. It is likely to be high fly season. A cap, bug spray, and several friends tend to lessen the misery. This is in no way an official event, and is brought to you by people full of bad ideas.
